Twitter could be powerful

I had the opportunity to help Whirlpool come up with a new campaign a few years back. My team came up with the concept “We hear you” and I couldn’t think of a better way for consumers to interact with a brand better than using the Twitter platform. The idea was that we could search for particular hashtags like #laundry, or #cooking, or other chores, and we could use the opportunity to engage consumers by tweeting them advice, tips or even assist them with real time customer service. ¬†We could also use this information to help develop better products, simply by knowing when people were using their appliances, how they were using them, and what challenges they face daily.
